Dear Listener,

Whether you are young or old, we don't care. Whether you are colorful or gray, we still want you to be happy. When you feel hate for the world, we will bring the matches and gasoline. lf all you feel is pain, we will hold you close and wait till the storm has passed in whatever regard this means to you. If you think we are cute, let us know. Most likely we just want to be kissed, touched, and pressed against each other, even if it's only for a moment. However, there are some of us that don't want to be touched. There are some who do not wish to be held close. But there are those who will try anyway. And they will lose their hand , their eye, and their tongue by our doing. If they ever think we will let them hurt you, they are wrong. We like cat ears, feathers, and spray adhesive. We have oil and dirt in our blood and under our fingernails. We know what a park bench feels like on our face in December, the permanent back pain of sleeping in our cars, and on friends couches. It doesn't ever seem to end. At least until it does. At least we know who we are.

And who we are is beautiful.
